Koriana had thought she'd escaped her father's hold over her life and that of the Ruling Council of Arronda when she'd joined the Intergalatic Peace Mission over two years ago. But now as the ship heads back to her home planet, her father has sent a royal directive to the ship's commander. A strong, dominant man who is not only her Commander but also her lover. And a man with whom she has shared very little of her past and family history. This directive over a Royal Decree she opposed could destroy her new life.

Commander Dante Zantrose has been somewhat at peace since Koriana joined his ship and became his lover. She is a worthy diplomat and strong-willed, yet she accepts his dominance in bed and with discipline. She is his woman. Yet when he receives a directive to bring her to the king of Arronda and his Ruling Council, Dante feels betrayed by the secrets she has kept from him. To learn now that she is a royal princess who dared to defy a Royal Decree and hide away on his ship all this time, angers him. Even angry and aware of what must be done, he plans to take her to the council but he will stand behind her, too. He will fight for the one woman he needs as his lifemate.

This was a very well written story. The characters were believable and likable. I liked that she came into her own. She became a woman who knew what she wanted and how to get it. My only problem is the double standard played out in the book. The two female character leads were punished for things the men could have prevented happening or didn't inform them of what should happen. For Korianna's mom, all her husband had to say was don't tell Korianna, and then for Korianna herself, he mate was doing the exact thing he was punishing her for. I also agree with another reviewer that some of the punishments were a little harsh, and it was sometimes hard to like the king at all. I felt he could have helped a little more than he did. All in all, well worth the read.

I am not much of a fan of sci-fi book, but I decided to give this a whirl and was very surprised at how much I enjoyed this book... I loved the way Dante stood by Korianna in the end... and I became particularly keen on the way the HEA was presented...

The heroine seemed too accepting and submissive to me -- like running away was her big risk, and after that she didn't have any gumption left. Still, it was an interesting read.

The only negative about this story was that it was too short. It was a very good read. The action between the princess and the captain was hot. There was hot sex and lots of discipline.

I enjoyed how discipline driven this story was. However, I wish their had been more communication between the princess and the commander.

This is a good story about a princess who just wanted to be free to do what she wanted eith her life and that is exactly what she did when she'd joined the Intergalatic Peace Mission. Except know her past has caught up with her and she is summoned home. Her captain and lover though angry stands by her and in the end they get their HEA.

This was a good book with a unique premise. The characters were well developed and the story was well paced I would have liked it to be a little longer though.

The scenes between the princess and her man were great. The scenes between the king, matron, and councel and the princess not so much. They were a bit severe for me. I liked the plot an characters and enjoyed the interaction between them. A good ending as well. I think the story could have been just as good without some of the severe scenes. But then I wasn't the writer. Over all a good read.

The main relationship is beautifully written. i enjoyed the punishment scenes between them. However, I didn't like the role of the kng and councel in the punishments. It got to be a bit too much for me.

I enjoyed this story about a princess who wanted to make her own choices and had the guts to take her life in her own hands. Lots of spankings and disciplines given with love. Total dominate male who love his lady.

I really liked this story! Great idea for a storyline and well rounded characters. I could not wait to see how it would end, and it ends well!
