The plot mainly focuses on the two main characters, and has one very self-centered spoiled girl, Gina, who thinks she has all the answers, can manipulate the system, Paul, and whoever else needed to complete the program and get her money. She is so sure of herself, that what she read in the contract was just threats, and that there would be no way she would be spanked. To Gina, this will be a walk in the park, lay out by the pool, and live her life like she has been doing for six weeks, forty-two days. Oh my, is this brat in for a rude awakening. She thinks she can have certain parts of the contract thrown out, and is even told to seek legal counsel before signing. Grandfather knows what is best, and his granddaughter needs a wake-up call from the road she has been going down, and her parents have let her. The story is full of eye-opening lessons, morals, real life situations, attitude adjustments, and heart to heart conversation. There are many well deserved, OTK bare bottom spankings, but never any sex scenes.
In the process of working together, Gina grows as a person; she learns her jaded view of individuals is often miscorrect, and that manipulation of her parents, teachers, school, etc. was detrimental to her as a person of society, daughter, student, and friend. She will grow up with the help of Paul, and even learn what love and commitment are all about.
I absolutely loved this second addition of the "Last Chance Program" series! I cannot wait to see if there will be more!! I loved Cheyenne and Jason's story from the first book, but I might have enjoyed this one even more!! Gina is a rich spoiled brat, that ends up in the program because of her Grandfather's will. It is funny because I really didn't even like Gina at first in this book, and therefore I was so very happy every time she ends up over Paul's lap! Things change however (not too quickly for Gina's bottom) and while Gina starts to see things about life in a different way, I think that it becomes thought provoking for the readers as well. This book surprised me even through to the end! I received this book from the publisher for an honest review. Love this book!! I will read every "Last Chance Program" book that comes out!!
The second book of the Last Chance Program series follows the pattern of the first- brat meets her match! Gina is a spoiled rich girl who thinks she is better than everyone else and can't get along with anyone. Forced to complete the Last Chance Program in order to inherit her grandfathers money, she meets Paul. Paul sees the diamond in the rough and falls in love with her as he spanks her into the sweet woman he sees underneath the surface. I really loved the inclusion of the characters from the first book, and the scenes with both couples were a highlight for me.
This was the second book in a series, and involved Paul helping Gina change her ways so she can get her inheritance. At first it didn't seem possible, but eventually she changed little by little. They also start to fall in love, and she finds out her parents don't approve of her changes or him. This book involved a lot of dialogue. I liked being able to see more of the couple from the first book, Jason and Cheyenne. Hopefully we will get to see more of both of these couples!
This is a great second book in this series and you don't have to read the first book to enjoy the interaction of Gina and Paul. Gina is the darling of her parents, but somewhat spoilt and prone to temper tantrums when she doesn't get her way. In order to inherit under her much-loved grandfather's will she must agree to complete The Last Chance program. Enter the incredibly handsome Paul who takes her in hand in every way. His discipline and emerging relationship leads to some very intense scenarios.
This is a very thoughtful book. It is the second in the series and it does not disappoint. Based upon the plot of this book, I would recommend that you read the previous book in the series prior to this one as it provides a lot of background on the Last Chance program that is the setting for this book. I found Gina to be a very unlikable character in the beginning but throughout the book, I began to respect her and like her. Paul, oh my, I couldn’t help but enjoy his strong, calm manner. I think that if I had to do as much talking as Gina does about her feelings, I would have some of the same experiences. I found this book to make me question some of my own personal habits and perceptions. I had to love it - not only did I enjoy reading it – it also made me think! I will definitely read the next book in this series!!
I loved this book as much as the first one in the series, maybe even more because Cheyenne and Jason feature prominently throughout this story, making it even better. Paul and Gina are both great characters and their story is compelling. Paul is one of Jason's best handlers and I loved the working relationship between the two. To say Gina was difficult would be a gross understatement, but with Jason's guidance and Cheyenne's insight, Paul was able to help her. I loved the dynamics between Gina and Paul and at times I laughed out loud. The way Gina was forced into the program was pure genius and her frustration was tangible. The dialogue as the book progressed became more and more insightful and very interesting. I wasn't expecting the plot twist that changed its direction, but I loved the way the story ended. I can't wait for the next book.
This is a sequel to The Last Chance Program with Jason and Cheyenne. This book can definitely be read as a stand alone, because the beginning of book two tells you about book one....but you will really be missing out if you don't read book one - it was fantastic!!! You can read the synopsis and I will tell you that it is a fantastic book too! It has a incredible story and a terrific length! There is a whole lot of dialogue, laugh out loud moments, many spankings - none harsh and only with hand - a beautiful romance (no sex) that was not rushed and you'll find out where "farklesharp" came from. Jason and Cheyenne (from the first book) were a big part of the last several chapters. Misty Malone always writes awesome books and can't wait for the next one!!! 5 glowing stars
This is book two, but it is not necessary to have read the first to fully enjoy this one. To get her inheritance right away, Gina agrees to enter The Last Chance Program as dictated by her grandfather's will -but it turns out to be so much more than the means to an end that she expected. It does not take much time for Paul to realize Gina is quite the spoiled princess, but he can also see the real person that lies beneath the narcissistic veneer. Unfortunately for Gina's bottom, it takes a good amount of corrective spanking to break through her twisted belief system and to help her become the person Paul knows she can be. I really liked that their relationship did not immediately evolve to a sexual level and that she is not a 'waiting to be discovered submissive' but rather a strong willed but misguided young woman who just needed the right incentive and some positive input to find her way. I look forward to the next installment which will hopefully include a glimpse of Gina and Paul's ever after, just as this story provided for a look at where Jason and Cheyenne (from book one) are now.
