Book 2 allows one to understand Shepherd better. Enjoyed.

Such a provocative and darkly erotic story! I have to find out what happens next!!! A real page turner!

I was captivated by this post-apocalyptic dystopian future story. It is dark and disturbing, not a sweet, happy story. The world is now with cities in domes, and this one is under the regime of escaped convicted Alpha named Sheppard. He rules and has followers, and then there are Betas and Omegas. They are referred as humans, but they mate more like animals, with the female going into heat. Claire is an Omega and becomes the pair-bonded mate to Sheppard by force. He keeps her locked away like a prisoner, and she has no connections to anyone but him. The plot and the characters are definitely unique, their mating, behavior, and roles in life. There isn’t marriage between Claire and Sheppard, he uses her heat and mates her, against what she wants, but could be considered dubious consent based upon what the estrous does to her body. Wow, just when Claire starts to feel something for Sheppard, Svana’s unexpected arrival and whatever hold Svana has over Sheppard destroys Claire emotionally. This is book one in this trilogy, and we are left with a cliffhanger.

Brilliant story and superb writing, Cain has it down and keeps us in sufficient suspense for the next book! Thoroughly enjoyed the characters who have realistic reactions (this is hard to come across in other books). Excellent read and definitely worth the price, keep up the good work and looking forward to the next installment.

Masterfully written and a joy to read. Ms. Cain wields an artful pen when telling Claire's journey. Notwithstanding the apocalyptic/sci-fi world that Claire lives in, she is the type of heroine that would navigate any setting with class and integrity. Looking forward to reading Book 2 of this series.

He cheats!! And he makes sure she can hear him and the OW! God! I just want to remove this book from my head! Sorry but the I simply can't stand cheating. If the author had issued a warning somewhere I wouldn't have read this book ever.

I have never been more excited to read a book from here before. I stumble across this story before it was posted here and read it 3 times. It is so well written, the characters, the plot and development. I will be not so patiently waiting for book 2!

A new author for me and I can't wait to read another! Very well written book with a wonderful sci-fi element that kept me turning the pages. Add in strong characters, suspense, and danger and I was hooked! I am looking forward to book two!

I loved this book. Cannot wait for book two and book three! The story was a nice mix between human, apocalypse and werewolf themes and characteristics - my favourite with scenes to make to blush that we love so much from Blushing Books. I'm counting down til book 2 and wil probably re-read the book in the meantime.

I love Born to be Bound!!! Addison Cain has created an amazing book that pulls you into the world of Tholos. The characters of Claire and Shepard are well developed and their interactions with each other are so intense, I couldn't get enough of this story and I can't wait for the next book to come out so I can find out what happens next.

I generally don't like otherworldly paranormal stories but this one pulled me into the narrative from the get go. The characters of Claire and Shepard are so realistic you can almost touch them. The descriptions of other characters and scenarios are just as painstakingly precise. This is the first installment. I can't wait until the next chapters unfold.

I enjoyed this story and read it in one sitting. At first I thought It was a unique take on a paranormal post apocalyptic story but have since found out it's an omegaverse story set in an alternate universe. It is intriguing and suspenseful and I can't wait to find out the full story of what is going on and what happens next. Claire maybe an omega but she has a strong will and determination to stand up for herself, to not lose herself and who she is. She may physically be an omega but she has the heart and soul of an alpha.

I love this book. It's not perfect, but it's very, very good. It's an erotica which gives you steamy scenes, strong heroine and compelling alpha (anti?)hero. Sounds like any-other-erotica? It's anything but. It's dark without being exhaustingly angsty, deeply emotive and has that elusive balance (rarely found in other books) between an engaging plot and hot sex scenes. The world building and character development are great, there was no info dump, you just got sucked right into the dystopian world of Tholos. I have no idea about what omegaverse is when I first read the book, but have no difficulty understanding things. The way Ms. Cain wrote about the social dynamics between alphas, betas and omegas are very flowing and enjoyable to read. The heroine is lovable, very, very lovable. She's strong, naive without being stupid, innocent in many ways without being retarded, very brave and has some serious backbone. I can't help but to fall in love with Claire. While the (anti?) hero, he's mysterious, domineering... I don't want to describe him too much, the mystery that is Shepherd has to be read by yourself. With Shepherd, I think Ms. Cain use the show-the-reader-don't-tell-them way perfectly, most of the time. The writing itself is very good, not without flaws, but highly enjoyable nonetheless. At some parts, I feel the writing to be somewhat rushed, but at other times (many, fortunately), it's gloriously poetic without being purple. Just read the book, you won't regret it. (Unless you have problem with power exchange and the general theme of the book)
