Is the grass really greener in someone else’s pasture?
Gwen isn’t sure either. She is not unhappy as she is fulfilled with her career as a teacher but she yearns for more in her personal life. Hiding a yearning for intimacy in her own mind and the pages of the sexy romances she reads, she seems to be waiting for the moment she is going to make her secret fantasies come true. Would
Curtis fulfill her desires? Would Reginald? She is going to find out…
Gwen and Curtis had a seemingly sweet relationship with both finding each other attractive but seemingly too shy to do anything about it. That left the way clear for Reginald to swoop in and try to make some of Gwen’s dreams come true. The writing was interesting and the characters even more so even though the storyline took some turns I was personally not cheering for. That will teach me to have my favourites!
Definitely an author I will be keeping on my TBR list.
Not always an happy read but overall worth it. There is very definitely a hero in this story as well as a villain. It was quite an easy read but reminiscent of a simpler time when things really were judged by how they seemed. Without the internet or a 24 hour news cycle, information at our fingertips, things really did run on the honour system & if you treated people well, you were a good guy. Unfortunately, there are always some that take advantage & this story describes the impact that can have.
The School Teacher’s Education is a great story: well written, plot driven, complex characters! A beautiful teacher longs for excitement. She wants a man in her life that will fill her needs and darkest desires. However, she is a school teacher, and she does need to protect her reputation from the town’s mean spirited gossips. Warning: The sex scenes are hot enough to combust, so monitor your heart rate and the heat your device is giving off while reading! I will be looking for more from Lorna Locke!
This is a new author and I enjoyed her story. The plot was well developed and had a bit of a moral lesson. To simplify it, Don't judge a book by it's cover! The discriptions of this little town was wonderful and I could picture it vividly. I'll look for more from this author.
I enjoyed this story by a new author for me. It offers a bit of romance, mystery, suspense coupled with lies, deceit, abuse of innocence and adventure. People are not always as they seem on the outside, sometimes their minds will take them places, even if those places are naughty thoughts. Just because one portrays themselves as royalty and appearance seem to dictate that to be true, doesn’t necessarily make it so. The plot kept me captivated and the pages turning as the story unfolds in this sleepy remote town with its common people and simple ways. When adventure rolls into town, too many of the townspeople believe what they are told. The dialog and the characters are entertaining. The story offers spanking and mild BDSM scenes along with explicit sex scenes.
