I had a little bit of trouble folling it. But I think if I had read the other stories, it would have made more sense. It was excellent well written.. It should deserve a 5 star, but I was disppointed at the end. left me with too many questions and not enough answear.. I was given this book for a honest review.

Unlike the other stories in the Brackish Bay book series, this one doesn’t take place in the same area. Marri is a highly trained and lethal soldier, but she bucks the system one time too many and is taken down, sold into slavery. Bought by a Madame and placed in a brothel as a courtesan, when they find out she thrives on rough, they capitalize on it. Always the soldier, no matter what, she is determined to take down the corrupt and make things right. The plot is captivating and keeps the pages turning in this dystopian world. The events are raw, and survival in this dog eat dog world is harsh. Sometimes you have to bid your time and accept what is happening. I don’t think we have seen the last of Marri. She may be a woman, crave rough sex, but she is a soldier and fighter first.

Sci/fi adventure story set in a future world of violence and hope. Marris is an extremely competent soldier of war that sets her goals high and accomplishes her mission at any cost including death and mayhem of any ancillary objects. She gets her high from conquering the enemy which also covers sex. Ultimately, her last antics get her sold and cached out of the army into an auction/slavery of a high-class bordello where she is trained to please others with the emphasis on pleasure from pain. This on-going adventure sees Marris developing her personality and honing her skills as she falls for her trainer and their efforts and struggles to come to terms with their future and the future of the planets,

I really liked this book. Though I am usually not a great fan of post apocalyptic fiction, I got drawn into this one. Marri is a strong soldier who sees lots of action and also finds lots of trouble. I am looking forward to finding out more about Marri.

Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. So much so that even though Marri's current story has ended I want more about her. I want to know what happens next for her though I can guess at least some of it. It is so well-written that you really get into the story, the post apocalyptic world and the people in it. There is never a dull moment, full of action, suspense and emotion. It pulls you in and doesn't let you go. In fact I would say that for every story I have read in this series so far. It is an excellent series.

This book was riveting. The almost non-stop action was very well written and I didn't want to put it down. Marri is a talented soldier who thrives on physical and sexual domination, but not many men can best her. She's an incredibly strong woman who does what needs to be done. I found her outlook on life, expressed through her dialogue with her goddess, delightfully amusing. The plot flowed beautifully and the characters were well developed. It is not necessary to have read other Brackish Bay books to enjoy this one, but this was so good that now I want to read them all.

I just love this series! I have been hooked from book one. This was a great book that offered suspense, adventure, danger and a ton of steam all in the post apocalyptic world of Brackish Bay. Don't miss it!
